Subject: Invitation to the Special In Vitro Animal Cell Sciences Events at the 2019 In Vitro Biology Meeting

Dear Yuan Lin:

On behalf of the Society for In Vitro Biology's In Vitro Animal Cell Sciences Section, we invite you to attend some of the special events during the 2019 In Vitro Biology Meeting in Tampa.

IVACS Program Committee Breakfast

Sunday, June 9, 7:00 - 8:00 am, in Meeting Room 12
The Program and Local Planning Committees have worked extremely hard to create a relevant and interesting scientific program for the 2019 In Vitro Biology Meeting and we hope that you enjoy the experience. We are now beginning to plan for the 2020 World Congress and want to hear from you. We depend on our attendees and members to propose topics for interesting sessions at future meetings. If you have ideas for next year's topics, please join us in planning for the 2020 World Congress program in San Diego, California next June! Everyone's input is welcome and your participation could shape next year's topics. A light continental breakfast will be provided

IVACS Section Business Meeting
Monday, June 10, 6:00 - 7:30 pm, in Meeting Room 12
We also hope you will attend our Section Business Meeting on Monday evening. You will learn more about the In Vitro Animal Cell Sciences Section of the SIVB and how you can become more involved in the future of the SIVB. Winners for the Oral Presentation Competitions will be announced during this meeting as well.

Joint Sections' Social (follows business meeting)
Monday, June 10, 7:30 - 10:00 pm in Il Terrazzo
Once all the work is done at the Business Meeting, we hope you will follow us to relax with your colleagues at the Joint Section's social! Enjoy light refreshments and great conversation. Have a good laugh or a quiet moment with your fellow attendees during this casual evening gathering.

We also hope you will also take advantage of the following Student events:
Student Workshop: Hands-On RNA-Seq Workshop Using the CyVerse Computational Infrastructure
Sunday, June 9, 7:30 - 9:30 pm, in Meeting Rooms 8&9
This workshop will focus on introducing researchers to the principles behind RNA-Seq analysis and provide a hands-on introduction to software and analysis pipelines for RNA-Seq . Students are requested to establish a free CyVerse account (www.cyverse.org) prior to the workshop and should have access to a networked laptop.

SIVB Student Affairs Breakfast
Tuesday, June 11, 7:00 - 8:00 am, in Meeting Rooms 8&9
Student attendees are welcome to join us for breakfast and learn how to get more involved in the SIVB.

Also, don't forget to attend the In Vitro Animal Cell Sciences Student and Post Doctoral Oral Presentation Competition and the Non-Competitive Student Oral Presentation session on Monday, June 10.

We hope the In Vitro Animal Cell Sciences Section has met your needs and if it did not, please seek us out during the meeting or email us with your concerns and suggestions. Thank you for your interest in the 2019 In Vitro Biology Meeting and we look forward to your continued participation in the In Vitro Animal Cell Sciences Section.
