Inhibition of Bacterial Soft Rot
 
 

Bacterial soft rot is an important bacterial disease in Taiwan. It often causes a great loss in vegetables and ornamentals, especially in a wet and warm environment. The pathogen of bacterial soft rot is Pectobacterium chrysanthemi. It mainly attacks leaves, stems, and roots, and occurs most commonly on vegetables with fleshy storage tissues or fleshly fruits. The initial symptoms are small water-soaked lesions. The outside leaves start to become gradually soft rotted and withered, and as the bacteria spread inside, the whole plant then becomes soft rotted and withered. This is due to the fact that the pathogen can secret a special enzyme to decompose the pectin of the cell wall to degrade the middle lamella of host cells. The optimum temperature for the development of this disease is between 25 to 30℃, and therefore it often occurs in a hot, rainy summer and early autumn. Bacterial soft rot infects the plants through wounds; therefore, efforts must be taken to prevent the plants from getting wounds.

The bacterial soft rot attacks orchids through the meristematic tissues and folding tender tissues. Early disease symptoms show water-soaked spots on the plant which then rapidly expand up to cause leaves to become soft rot from the base of the leaves to their tip. Plants that are more vulnerable to the pathogen of bacterial soft rot are chrysanthemums, calla lilies, tomatoes, cabbages, potatoes, broccolis, and bananas, etc. For the moment, the prevention of bacterial soft rot attack can only rely on the use of drugs by spraying streptomycin and〔Cu(H2O)4〕SO4.H2O every two months right from May, or by burning the infected plant. Other things, such as enhanced field disease management, soil disinfection one month before sowing, or rice rotation, can help prevent the occurrence of bacterial soft rot.

In 1989, Mr. Yuan Lin discovered the Absolutely Constant Energy Source (ACES). He can utilize ACES to activate the genome responsible for inheritance, development and performance of body functions in the human body to control specific amino acid sequences and protein peptide chain formation processes, directing cell division, replication and new organelle formation. ACES was also applied to induce changes in the irreversible process of spontaneous biochemical reactions of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, amino acids, enzymes, nucleic acids, vitamins, hormones, and trace elements. Mr. Yuan Lin thus had his body experience an unprecedented leap forward in human evolution, which has thoroughly changed the human biological form, structure, and habits inherited over billions of years, to become the first successfully-evolved New Human Line.

The purpose of this experiment is to prove that Mr. Yuan Lin, the first successfully-evolved New Human Line, can utilize the Absolutely Constant Energy Source (ACES) and the new biological engineering techniques to activate Pectobacterium chrysanthemi, and inhibit its growth and reproduction without any changes in its molecular weight, structural formula, and conformation, at 25℃, 1.0 atm, and pH 7.0, in a confined and isolated space, and with no contact with catalysts, biologically active substances, chemical substances, and physical action forces, so as to prevent vegetables and ornamentals from being attacked and infected by Pectobacterium chrysanthemi.

Pectobacterium chrysanthemi had been cultured in agar, and was checked and measured every day for the diameter of growth after being activated by Mr. Yuan Lin for 3 minutes, as a comparison with the control sample. Following nine days after the activation, the rate of growth and reproduction of the treated sample appeared slower than that of the control sample (the treated sample grew 1.5 cm in diameter and the control sample grew 2.2 cm in diameter). Eighteen days later, the treated sample grew 2.2 cm in diameter and the control sample grew 3.7 cm in diameter.

From the above experimental results, we can see that there is significant difference(p=0.00)between the control sample and the sample treated with ACES by Mr. Yuan Lin. It verified that Mr. Yuan Lin, the New Human Line, can utilize the Absolutely Constant Energy Source and the new biological engineering techniques to activate Pectobacterium chrysanthemi and inhibit its growth and reproduction so as to prevent vegetables and ornamentals to be infected and attacked by Pectobacterium chrysanthemi.
