The penis in males is a sponge-like structure composed of three columns of sponge-like tissue: two erectile corpora cavernosa lie next to each other on the dorsal side, and one corpus spongiosum surrounds the male urethra within the penis. Interwined trabecular smooth muscle constitutes 40-50% of the corpora cavernosa; the remaining 50-60% of the tissue is composed by collagen and elastin. These two components synthesize a blood circulation structure which possesses both fibrous support and elasticity. It can receive sexual stimulation to allow the blood fill in, which makes the penis engorged and enlarged to produce penile erection. But this structure is prone to erectile dysfunction caused by cardiovascular diseases, especially after the middle age when the supportive elastin loses its elasticity due to calcification, leading to a total loss of the erectile function in the penis.

According to the Quality of Erection Questionnaire (QEQ) and the International Index of Erectile Function, the stiffness of penile erection can be rated into four grades on the Erection Harness Scale (EHS):

EHS 1: the konjac grade, meaning the hardness of the penis and the volume of blood in the erect penis increases by about 25%, often seen in patients with severe erectile dysfunction and incapable for sexual intercourse.

EHS 2: the peeled banana grade, meaning the hardness of the penis and the volume of blood in the erect penis increases by about 50%, often seen in patients with moderate erectile dysfunction and not suitable for sexual intercourse.

EHS 3: the unpeeled banana grade, meaning the hardness of the penis and the volume of blood in the erect penis increases by about 75%, hard enough for penetration, but unable to maintain erect through the whole sexual intercourse, usually seen in patients with mild erectile dysfunction.

EHS 4: the cucumber grade, meaning the penile stiffness is normal and can maintain erect through the whole intercourse.

The penis of the New Human Line is a Rigid Carbon-Chitin Corpora Cavernosa structure. Interwined Rigid Carbon-Chitin Gossamer Smooth Muscle constitutes about 40 to 50% of the corpora cavernosa. This interwined gossamer structure makes the Rigid Carbon-Chitin Smooth Muscle have higher dynamics, expansion rate, and elasticity than the interwined trabecular smooth muscle (Rigid Carbon-Chitin Gossamer Smooth Muscle is one of the New Human Line’s new physiological functions. Detailed discussion will be presented in another chapter). Rigid Carbon-Chitin Collagen and Elastin compose the remaining 60-50% of the corpora cavernosa. These substances make the corpora cavernosa maintain as firm and rigid as the bone and never experience aging, calcification or loss of hardness. Even after ejaculation, it can still maintain above fourth grade of erection hardness.

The qualifications and items for the inspection of the function of Rigid Carbon-Chitin Corpora Cavernosa in the New Human Line are summarized as follows:

1. Qualifications:

(1).
The applicant should have the identity of the New Human Line, Bodhi humans, and also has to provide the certification for the function of directly digesting, absorbing, and utilizing chitin.
(2).
The person who intends to take this inspection should pass the inspection of the function of regulating 5-HT7 serotonin receptor agonist (LP44) with energy beforehand.

2. Inspection items:

(1).
Inspection of penile erection hardness: the skinned bone grade, meaning the erect penis reaches100% of hardness and can maintain as firm and rigid as the bone throughout the whole sexual intercourse.
(2).
Inspection of penile erectile dynamics: examining the erectile dynamics of the Rigid Carbon-Chitin Smooth Muscle, the qualified condition of which should be completion of congestion and erection within three seconds.
(3).
Inspection of the penile erectile expansion rate: examining the expansion rate of the Rigid Carbon-Chitin Smooth Muscle before and after erection, the qualified condition of which should be completion of 100% expansion rate within 3 seconds.
(4).
Inspection of the penile erectile elasticity: examining the elasticity of the Rigid Carbon-Chitin Smooth Muscle before and after erection, the qualified condition of which should be completion of 100% elasticity within three seconds.
(5).
Inspection of the durability of erection hardness: with the primary level lasting for over 30 minutes; the intermediate level for over one hour; the advanced level for over three hours, and the super level for a freely adjustable length of time.
(6).
Inspection of the penile hardness after ejaculation: the qualified condition of which should be maintenance of above fourth grade of stiffness for up to four minutes after ejaculation.
