The inspection of duplicative learning and memory functions in the second generation of the New Human Line

Test Item:
The Cambridge English Qualifications A2 Flyers 2018 Word List (containing 540 words)

Testee:
The second generation of the New Human Line, a 7-year-old boy

Tester:
Ms. Lin who graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures in the National Taiwan University, an English teacher at present

Test Time:
The testee took the test from 9 am to 5 pm on Thursday, April 5, 2018. There was a 10-minute break every 50 minutes, including another combined break of 2 hours for lunch break and nap time. The total actual test time was 5 hours.

Cambridge English Flyers 

Test Content:
The Cambridge English Qualifications A2 Flyers 2018 Word List (containing 540 words) listed as below:

Inspection Methods:

1. The inspection started with the tester reading out the words, one by one, on the Cambridge English Qualifications A2 Flyers 2018 Word List (540 words in total).
2. When each English word was read out, the testee had to immediately spell out the whole English word and memorized it with the duplicative memory function.
3. The testee could not record the inspected English words in any ways, including writing them down on paper or with pens, videotaping or recording, etc.
4. The tester repeatedly gave the tests for the 540 English words in uncertain places and at irregular times on April 6, 7, 8, and 9, 2018, respectively.

Test Result:
The testee had a clear duplicative memory of all the 540 English words on the Cambridge English Qualifications A2 Flyers 2018 Word List and thus passed the inspection on April 5, 2018. And for the inspections held in uncertain places and at irregular times on April 6, 7, 8, and 9, 2018, respectively, the testee also displayed a clear duplicative memory of all the 540 tested English words on the word list and passed all the inspections (p=0.000). It can prove that the second generation of the New Human Line has a duplicative memory function.
