Metaldehyde is highly toxic by inhalation, moderately toxic by ingestion and slightly toxic by dermal absorption. Bait agents with 6% metaldehyde are used to attract and kill slugs or snails after ingestion. According to the government approved registration for the use of 6% metaldehyde bait agents on dry land, the spraying method is recommended around the land or near an area where slugs or snails are frequently spotted.
Symptoms of metaldehyde poisoning may develop within a few minutes to a few hours after ingestion, including excessive salivation, facial flushing, acute abdominal pain, vomiting, and generalized tremors. The latter may progress to drastic tonic and clonic convulsions. For the human body, metaldehyde mainly causes serious damage to the liver cells and the renal tubular epithelium. Metabolic acidosis is an important contributory factor in death.
The purpose of this experiment was to prove that Mr. Yuan Lin, the first successfully-evolved Super Human, can utilize the Absolutely Constant Energy Source (ACES) and the new biological engineering techniques to activate metaldehyde to convert its chemical concentration without any change in its molecular weight, structural formula, and conformation, at 25℃, 1.0 atm, and pH 7.0, in a confined and isolated space, and with no contact with catalysts, biologically active substances, chemical substances, and physical action forces, and by means of changes in the concentration to control the potential harm of metaldehyde to the human body.
From the above experiment results, we can see a significant difference (p = 0.02) in the concentration between the control groups and the samples treated with the ACES by Mr. Yuan Lin. It can prove that Mr. Yuan Lin, the Super Human, can utilize the Absolutely Constant Energy Source and the new biological engineering techniques to activate metaldehyde and convert and change its chemical concentration, so as to reduce the potential harm of metaldehyde to the human body.
