The Chinese Association for the Human Evolution (hereinafter called the Association) is a non-profit organization established in accordance with Taiwan law. The authority concerned is the Ministry of the Interior.

The tasks of the Association are:

1. To promote and advance research in human evolution-related academic fields.
2. To strengthen people’s knowledge of human evolution by disseminating teaching activities relevant to human evolution.
3. By combining research with teaching, to encourage people’s active participation in human evolution activity, to increase the quality of their lives, and to advance the development of human life and civilization to the highest level.

To accomplish the above tasks, the Association established an official website for the Members and scholars in human evolution academic fields to publicize their research reports, academic papers and articles relevant to human evolution.

To obtain permission for formal publication on the official website of the Association, these research reports and academic papers shall provide laboratory data and pass the examination criteria of the Committee. Prior publication, in any form or by any means, are prohibited. Any violation is subject to cancellation of the qualification.

For those research reports and academic papers permitted by the Association for formal publication on the official website, the research expense concerned will be subsidized in full by Mr. Yuan Lin, Chairman of the Association. In addition, to encourage scholars to actively participate in research work related to human evolution, an extra incentive reward of NT$ 20,000 to 500,000 will be granted for each research report and academic paper accepted for publication.

In addition to the above-mentioned extra incentive reward, an additional reward of NT$ 3.0 per Chinese character (up to a maximum of 3000 words) will also be offered by Mr. Yuan Lin, for those articles permitted by the Association for formal publication on the official website as an encouragement to scholars’ active participation in writing relevant articles to strengthen people's knowledge of human evolution.
