The Brief Introduction of Dr. Liza Ming-Ju Chang Who Is the Chairman of Third Term of the Association for the Human Evolution Her native place was Tao-Yuan County, Taiwan Province and was born at Chang-Chun city, Jolin Province, China. Her father was Alps Fang-Hsieh Chang. In 1967, she graduated from the Department of Horticulture at National Taiwan University, she then studied her master degree in Department of Food and Nutrition, Brigham Young University. In 1969, she was a research assistance at North Carolina State University, Department of Food Science to do research on the effects vitamins to the body of animals. In 1970, she was a research assistance at Ohio State Agricultural Research & Development Center, Department of Animal Husbandry to do research on isotope C14 in cattle's blood changes and used isotope analyzers to check all data. In 1976, she was a research assistance at Mississippi State University, Department of Chemistry to do research on anti-cancer drugs which were extracted from Southern America natural plants. She used high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography (LC) to purify anti-cancer drugs and also performed clinical animal trial at the same time. In 1987, she studied her PhD degree in Crop Science, Mississippi State University. Her research was about plant growth hormone to affect and change in the growth stages. She received the outstanding graduate student award in the Department from Mississippi State University. In 1989, after she received her PhD degree, she was a post-doctor research associate in the Development Center for Biotechnology which was a sub-unit of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Republic of China. She used high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), liquid chromatography (LC), and mass spectrograph (MS) etc. instruments to extract the traditional Chinese medicine (Dragon's blood, Sanguis Draconis) to purify chemical substance which had plant pest resistance and plant disease resistance functions then it used to instead of pesticides. Finally she obtained new pure chemical compound 5-methoxy-7-hydroxyflavan and applied a patent right and received the highest honor award of research from the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Republic of China. In 1994, she was a post-doctor research associate at Mississippi State University, Department of Crop Science. She used Gel Electrophoresis and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) etc. instruments to run DNA transformation experiments of rice, soybean, and corn etc. At the same time, she also did plant tissue culture. In 1998, she received the patent and the best research in this field. In 2006, she was a post-doctor research associate in the Association for the Human Evolution and used Gel Electrophoresis, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), liquid chromatography (LC), mass spectrograph (MS), and spectrophotometer etc. instruments to do the research about the Absolute Homeostasis Energy Source broad influence. In 2011, she was invited by The Society for In Vitro Biology international conference and presented the paper on " The Absolute Homeostasis Energy Source Inhibited the Growth of Mycellium of Aspergillus flavus". In 2012, she was invited by The Society for In Vitro Biology international conference and represented the program committee of the animal section. In 2015, she serves as the Chairman of Third Term of the Association for the Human Evolution. |
