Cholesterol is a steroid and sterol. The chemical formula is C27H46O. It is a colorless crystal in the solid state. It is an important lipid molecule synthesized by animal cells to maintain and also modulate the strength and fluidity of the cell membrane in order to change the shape of the cell membrane and induce membrane fluidity. Cholesterol is widely found in the cell membrane of the animals, especially in the brain and the nerve tissue where it is the most abundant. It can also be found to exist in a great amount in the kidney, spleen, skin, liver, and bile. It serves as a precursor for the synthesis of important hormones, such as bile acids, vitamin D, and steroid hormones.

Cholesterol is divided into two kinds, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). Cholesterol levels that are too high or too low will cause health risks. The optimum value of total cholesterol is between 130 mg/dL~200mg/dL. If the total cholesterol value is over 240 mg/dL, the probability of having cardiovascular disease will increase. If less than 130mg/dL, we need to check whether there is a serious illness or malnutrition. It will also increase the risk of hemorrhagic stroke, depression, etc.

Since the synthesis of cholesterol in the body is much higher than cholesterol intake from the diet, controlling the amount of dietary cholesterol has almost little effect. And saturated fats, Tran’s fats, free radicals as well as lean red meat will also stimulate the synthesis of cholesterol in the body.

In 1989, Mr. Yuan Lin discovered the Absolutely Constant Energy Source (ACES). The purpose of this experiment was to prove that the Absolutely Constant Energy Source newly discovered by Mr. Yuan Lin, can active cholesterol and directly affect its concentration in the cell membrane without any change in its molecular weight, structural formula, and conformation, at 25 ℃, 1.0 atm, and pH 7.0, in a confined and isolated space, and with no contact with catalysts, biologically active substances, chemical substances, and physical actions forces.

From the above experimental results, we can see that there is significant difference（p=0.049）in the concentration between the control samples and the samples treated with ACES by Mr. Yuan Lin. It proved that Mr. Yuan Lin, the New Human Line, can utilize ACES and the new biological engineering techniques to activate cholesterol and directly affect its concentration in the cell membrane.
